} Hi, I love your muffins! I always get one from Moby's in Walkertown. They are great, my favorite is the pumpkin. I have not tried your cheesecake yet...I will be visiting you! } Oh my goodness... I have seen this place for months but NEVER thought of going over to try anything. I have to admit I'm not a big cheesecake fan. Some girlfriends and I decided one Saturday night to give this place a try. OH MY GOODNESS... it was the BESTEST EVER. The Key Lime Cheesecake is absolutely the greatest ever. Now I can't wait for everyone I know to have some. To top it all off... the staff at Cheesecakes by Alex are the the CREAM of the CROP!!!! My sister-in-law seemed to be enveloped by "waves of convulsions" after she took two bites. It was a sight to behold. I made sure they noted the business card on the box. } Alex, I wanted to thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty. I used to live in Greensboro and loved stopping by your shop to get a slice of cheesecake (and sometimes the whole cake). Last year, however, I moved to Kenya. Now, sadly, I don't get to enjoy your cheesecake any more. Thanks to your website though, my family and friends can still enjoy your cake. I order cheesecakes for my family for birthdays. Last week was my father's birthday. I ordered a cake for him, but he went out of town (without letting me know - imagine!). The cake was left at his doorstep by FedEx and was not edible by the time he got back. You too kindly sent him a replacement cake! On one hand, I am amazed; on the other, that type of out-of-the-way kindness totally sounds like you. I just wanted to thank you so much for sending my father a new birthday cake. The cheesecakes are delicious (I think if I HAD to pick a favorite, it'd be Kahlua, but they're all amazing), the other pastries are perfect, and the espresso bar is a marvelous addition. I love the cafe and the fish as well, of course, and have told everyone I know to visit you ... often! I myself stop in when I can (and that's more often, thanks to your extended hours of operation!) for the cheesecake, the yummy beverages, but most of all for the people.
